FASHION MYTHS, TO BE BROKEN IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Change is the ultimatum that rules the world of Fashion. When trends and myths related to fashion keep evolving along with the passage of time; it’s time to actually out-weigh them. After all rules are meant to be broken isn’t it? To top it all, nobody is sure of who laid down the rules in the first place so let’s just debunk on them and revamp on some of the common styling ideas. Well the most popular one amongst them is; matching bags to go with your shoes. Well duh!! What yeah? Where’s freedom of choice? This has been followed since ages, how about mix and match of accessories with a playful mix of colors here and there? Wouldn’t that make your apparel more appealing?

Of course sometimes it’s good to slot on a black suede dress with a lovely black clutch bag but it isn’t exactly necessary to abide by the same every time isn’t it? Next on the list, is the no-no nod to mixing prints? You cannot match leopard prints and neither polka dots nor stripes with criss cross matches. Print mixing is one of the top norms and realms set forth this season.

Be it any night party, balls or discoes you spot people wearing sequins and metallic accoutrements. Why not swap one of your outfits; like for a sparkly skirt add on another piece of shirt or jacket, am sure the look can be overwhelming. And it’s also set forth that you need to be a long-legged beauty or a model to be able to wear Long dresses with slits. If you have a good designer or a tailor; It’s sure any girl will be able to carry forward the dress be it long dresses or casual trousers it all comes down to how the perfect fit isn’t it? And generally people don’t add on stockings or socks with open-toed shoes oh well am sure any girl can carry this add-on if only her riff plays on well with the outfit. Silver shoes against black skirts; am sure will be able to charm the socks off anyone. No mixing of Navy and Black is a passe role on color mixing duh duh, be it accessories or apparels people prefer not to mix them together and it’s believed for long that only colors of opposite genre complement each other well.

And just another cliche on the same note, is a strict no-no to mixing of gold and silver. Am sure if’s it worn in chic fashion with la style it can make in for a modern combination. And the most important rule that needs to be misspelled is; that whites are not supposed to worn after Labor Day. White stir-up pants, ivory sweaters or snowy coats can be carried on with all through the year and no matter what you wear, at what time you wear it all is about how well you carry it off.
