Actor Hrithik Roshan got the interiors of his sea-facing Juhu apartment in Mumbai, redone by the same interior designer who designed his Bang Bang (2014) co-star, Katrina Kaif ’s home in Bandra, Mumbai.
Hrithik’s sea facing home is a breezy affair—and it’s not just about the salty air wafting in from the Arabian Sea.
In the sprawling den adjoining the living room, where the lives of the three Roshan boys intersect, there’s a foosball table, a billiards table and a vending machine that dispenses chocolates.
Have a look at the stunning interiors:
The living room is bathed in neutral tones. The carpet is specially imported from Jaipur.
The other corner of the living room has Family photos mounted on a moveable grid.
The couches are from B&B Italia propped with Kelly Hopkins cushions.
The Roshans have one house rule: the family doesn’t have a fixed dining spot.
Never mind the dining room with the swanky Astrolab glass table. Instead, a foldable table is set up wherever the children fancy.
“Sometimes, we’ll have breakfast right in the middle of the living room or we’ll have it on the terrace or in my bedroom,” says Hrithik, adding, “It’s my way of telling my children to think outside the box, to imagine endless possibilities.”
THE DEN: Hrithik uses this whitewashed brick wall to project movies on weekends.
This Dedon hanging Lounger worth Rs. 4 Lakhs in the living room is simply awesome.
The home is peppered with quirky quotes.
These quotes are spread through the house: from Latinate aphorisms to quirky one-liners penned by Roshan himself.
The Chess Board and the Quadriptych by Desmond Lazaro carry on the muted color scheme.
Hrithik found this ship model in Mauritius and instantly bought it too decorate his house.
He bought this leather armchair from Dubai and the telephone booth shaped book shelf is simply mindblowing.
There is a custom made Billiards Table too. Apart from that, they also have a Foosball table, and a vending machine that dispenses chocolates.
The entryway features a Batmobile model because Batman is Hrithik’s favorite.
The Bubble Chair near the bar is the perfect spot to unwind.
The Boys’ room features chairs by Knoll and floor covering from The Rug Republic.
Hrithik’s office and study room with a stack of bound scripts and tomes on moviemaking.
And finally the space where I can live forever. The den opens up to an enclosed green space with a seaview. And its Heaven !
